I've been trying to visit Andreas's site all evening and every time I get a "site not found" message. Is it just me or has anyone else had the same problem?

    Same.

The message I get is (Moziila Browser):
"The connection was refused when attempting to contact www.8mm.filmshooting.com".

    Explorer:
    "A connection failure has occurred"
so something is (not) going on at the moment.

Yes, the site was down all night (CET). Somehow the webserver stopped last night about the same time I went to bed. I didn't notice until when I got online again this morning. No messages in the error-log either.. Sorry if it the downtime caused problems!

    Question

Even so, I was able to download two movies from the video site: FoFRalley2002usingQuartz1S8.mpg, QuarzSuper8.mpg, and more. These play very nicely full screen. I had noticed that my link to my Super8 sound sync test was broken and after fixing it played around. ftp://ftp.filmshooting.com/upload/video/
    S8xfers.mpg from
    http://home.attbi.com/~mcarter4121/

How could this part be working when the other part was not????

    Wink

It was the webserver that went down, not the ftp server where your files are stored. That's the reason.
